Trunk or Treat 2014!
Tonight I had two Ariels running around gathering candy at the church parking lot. I don't even know how to explain the unexpected joy it brought me. The girls were so happy and having so much fun and I was like, I get to do this for the next decade or more of my life and I can't even wait! Even with the guilt I'm sure we all feel when stuffing pounds of sugar down our kids throat, it is the best! I can only imagine the years to come and how fun Halloween is going to be. Maybe I'll match them every year. At least until they refuse because they are embarrassed and hate each other or something haha!

Photos Lately
Next week is October and that means that it will be my busiest time of year for photography (not too mention holiday busyness!) I love all of it. The holidays coming and the weather changing. The families I get to photograph are the best. Last year, London was about 1.5 months old when I got on a plane (with both girls) and flew to AZ from ND to photograph approximately 10 families and 1 wedding in one week. It. Was. Insane. I was emotional, tired, happy, sad and stressed.
This year I am going to be super, extra organized with my time and my scheduling. I'm not as hormonal as I was last year and I'm not as tired, so that will help a lot. But I know that other mothers can relate when I say that the time we are away from our little ones and husbands, its hard. Its a two way street because in a way we desperately need that little time away and then on the other hand we miss them like crazy when we leave. Or at least I do. My sister just 5 minutes ago told me I need to get more babysitters. So I might be a little more attached than I should be. But who knows?
I'm looking forward to the next few months and all the fun, crazy memories it will bring. Let it snow;)
^^^I thought I would post this here just in case you haven't scheduled your family photo session yet! October weekends are full up, but email me to snag a weekday or a date in November:) molliephoto@gmail.com

Happy Birthday America!
we had a real fun day yesterday. after the ward breakfast we headed up to prescott stopping at rock springs cafe. it was packed there! we bought a mixed berry crumble pie which was delicious. i really wanted to get the #1 seller the "bourbon pecan" but spencer can't do pecan pie... probably because he hasn't had that one yet and doesn't know how good they can be. in prescott we watched the brazil vs. columbia world cup game of course. and we tried going downtown but oh my gosh was that a complete disaster area we couldn't even find a parking spot so we left. lisa had us over for a bbq and fireworks and the weather was incredible. summer monsoon clouds all day long and that's pretty much all i can ask for from a fourth of july! yes siree!

4th of july in killdeer
warning: too many photos. but the truth is that I haven't taken my nice camera out to shoot anything just for myself in quite sometime. and so i'm excited that these are my memories. i might have got a little carried away. so we had a great night over in killdeer at the block party. and the pictures of the fireworks are not showing the full extent of the damage done. they were insane up in there. and we had the ashes in our hair to show for it (and all over our food). glad we made it up in time for the 4th!
cousins^^
dirt salad anyone?^^
way too much meat^^
karaoke all night long^^
this was all the trash on the ground after only 10 mins of fireworks... they lasted almost 3 hours!^^^
shooting down the floating lanterns with other fireworks was the best!^^
daddy even got to walk over from the office for a bit of the show:)^^
happy fourth! i feel especially patriotic this year because of what happened in my hometown of Prescott. sending love to those back home!
