i just finished taking a quilting 101 class at "the quilter's bee". my friend lisa asked me if i wanted to take it with her and i was all about it! i couldn't wait to use the sewing machine my mom got me last year. i learned a lot and my quilt turned out really cool. this particular class only took me through to finish the top of the quilt so i need to continue onto 102 and do the binding and eveything else. i will take some photos of it once all of that is done.
for now... my inspiration for some other quilt projects. i have no idea how to "free-hand" quilt but i think its the coolest thing i've ever seen.
and these fabrics! UGH! i drool over these fabrics.
