Saturday we took a little jaunt to the Grand Canyon. Spencer had never been (neither had Gretta ;). It was an amazing sight. I had only been to Havasupai so it was fun to see this other view of it. We both agreed that the coolest thing about it is that it tells us all in plain sight a story about the earth. All the layers are completely visible and even the towers of rock that are standing alone in the middle of it match the layers of the sides of the canyon. Its just incredible.
